A chess based TTRPG created for the Grassroots Game Jam 2025. It comes with an Indiana Jones, Uncharted, Treasure Hunter theme as you hunt for The Golden Idol. Can you work out which Idol is the real one so that you can replace it with a matching fake? Or will you trigger the traps and find escaping alive much more difficult!

It can easily be rethemed to suit all sorts of adventures though which involve hunting for something, getting it and trying to get away with it. In order to play you will need a full chess set including all of the standard pieces and the board. 

Having the actions that are assigned to each of the pieces, laid out in the helpful table in the pdf and below, will also be very useful.
